Anok Yai is an Egypt-born American fashion model of South Sudanese heritage. She is the second black supermodel after Naomi Campbell, and the first South Sudanese woman, to open a Prada show. Yai currently ranks as one of the "Top 50" models by models.com. She was born in Cairo and her family moved to Manchester, New Hampshire when she was 3. Her mother is a nurse and her father works for Easterseals; her sister Alim is her manager and a financial consultant. She graduated from Manchester High School West and attends Plymouth State University studying biochemistry, intending to become a doctor. As of October 2025, Anok has amassed 3.1 million followers on Instagram.
